LDN - Luminis Developer Network

Lum v4.0.2.41 build 41. Intermittently slows to crawl where no one can login or navigate. prstat -J shows jvsc process using up to 51% cpu with load avgs 6 to 15 to omg. No tuning recommendations from Sungard or Sun gudes have helped. Lum iv has to be restarted. 3x this week so far.

So, been investigating parallel deploy. Has anyone tried this config rather than parallel deploy?
Add another webserver (portal tier).
Rather than use a load balancer, segregate the traffic from different network segments.
