LDN - Luminis Developer Network

Has anyone out there created a way to display an aggregated calendar to
all Luminis users that includes University Holidays, Academic Calendar, Student/Uni events, student class schedule (individualized and aggregated, not in separate calendars as is now), etc using the "Sun Java System Calendar" that's bundled with Luminis (we're on 4.2.3.34 running on Linux).

Hi, fellow Luminis developers.

We are migrating to Luminis 4.2.2.34. We are starting "fresh" ....

1) I would like to know best practices for adding "homegrown" content on the server (example: html you wrote, jpg used in a Targed Content Channel, jsp, xml, etc). Currently (4.1.x - Production), we host much of our homegrown content in a subdirectories under a directory similar to the following:
/usr/luminis/webapps/luminis/setonContent/

Hello, everyone! ☺ There is a script in /usr/luminis/bin called addnewbookmark. Has anyone ever used it?

I ran it in our development environment (without fully knowing the implications). NOT a good idea.

Does anyone know how this group studio configman/ldap setting is used? Or where? Maybe when?

Hello, all.

I was wondering if there is a way to tell how many users have subscribed to a particular channel.  In this case it's an XSLT channel, although I'm not sure that matters. 

Perhaps some SQL against the Luminis database, or is there a cptool command  or other "Hacky" way?

We are on Luminis 4.1.1.39

In the properties file for a gcf connector, there is an attribute called "devenv" .. I would assume that is for "development environment".

Does anyone know of any differences if it is set to "true" vs. "false". Is there some kind of logging impact?  I can't see a difference.  Maybe it is there just for documentation purposes?  ie, if it's set to true, then the developer might know right away this is a GCF for development, not production?

Hello everyone!! I built a connector that uses autosync (username/pw's are different than luminis and cannot be set via cptool ahead of time since we do not know user pw's for this "External System" (ES)).

Looking for those who have written their own CPIP (not using GCF, but rather java) .... or other type of SSO logic.

The reason? We are not having luck with GCF for our "Oracle Portal" connector and Sungard suggests we write our own SSO.  See http://www.lumdev.net/node/2884  for some details.
