LDN - Luminis Developer Network

There was a post where someone created or was going to create a List of Channels using PHP.

I created a Channel that was requested by our admin and user base. I will attach the .car file.

The main Channel Class file is:

edu.wmich.luminis.uportal.channels.channelList.ChannelListChannel

Hmm, catchy title. Yes my last name is Frikken. I have moved from a very strict Java Development position in the Corporate world, to working with "that Luminis Product" here at Western Michigan University.  My title is Portal Application Developer, which so far feels more like "Figure out how that Channel Development Kit works."

I am excited about working with WMU since I also graduated from here as well. 

Okay, what else... Oh as far as what am I doing, I have followed the CDK Guide from SCT and have Uportal 2-1-quick-start running locally.  I have run through the example channels and I am agressively working on a channel that parses the session.log and persists data to our Oracle Database in order to provide all kinds of stats.  Actually, The log parsing will be a backend process.  The channel will be the frontend reporting of the stats.
