Jmeter Load Testing Luminis 4 - 503 errors (too many outstanding requests)

We are finally getting around to doing load testing our Luminis 4 environment after having a problem with the start of registration every semester. I am using Jmeter 2.4. I have a full script that mimics what a user does during peak registration, it logs into the portal, (downloading all the graphics, css files, etc.) then switches to our registration tab, calls the cpip URL to single signon to banner, navigates to a couple of menus in banner, retrieves the users current registrations and logs out of luminis. I have some response assertions checking for failed logins, etc. At low levels of activity, the script works well and returns expected results. As I increase the load, it quickly starts getting 503 errors from Luminis:

GCF to Basic HTTP Auth is doable!

Have I found the holy grail of Luminis GFC developers? I have a fully functioning GCF connector that authenticates me to a system that uses basic http auth.

This trick relies on a special case, but it is hopefully universal enough that others would be interested.

How does this work?

Help, I can't seem to post anything. It is all being blocked. I swear I never posted spam :-) Is this just me?

How to get a Distance Learning URL to open new Window

I am slogging along setting up single signon for eCollege/MyLabs Plus. So far I wrote a GCF Connector to perform the appropriate Single Signon. (using the HMAC/SHA technique. This works fine, (except for the inability to deep link to an individual class) but now I am trying to figure out how to present this to students and faculty. Since only a small fraction of our classes use this system, it seems silly to put in a general purpose custom icon or channel.

Luminis Iv and idempotent URL's (linking to a channel or tab)

We are just finishing up our final customization in our test Luminis IV config (upgrading from III.3.3) and we have everything working except one thing.

Previously, we had set up custom icons, one of which is supposed to link to a self service banner URL.

This works fine in III.3.3, but I always get access denied errors in Luminis 4 when trying to use any self referencing portal links (with or without the idempotent  keyword)   There is nothing useful logged anywhere I can find.
