D2L 9 GCF
Posted our D2L 9 SSO in the SVN repository:
http://svn.lumdev.net/Luminis/GCF%20Connectors/D2L_v9/
With it you can SSO to the D2L home screen or directly to a course (crn.term).

In addition to the normal GCF stuff, you'll need to:
- Update the hostname in d2l.properties
- Update the installCode in d2l.xml
- Update the key in d2l.xml
Personal Announcement Channel Icons
Prioritizing or re-ordering the announcements in the Personal Announcements channel is a common Luminis request I hear. Our district was no different. With all of the messages sent from Course Studio, Group Studio, and Targeted Messages, other important messages (like Banner Smart Events) blend in with the rest or get pushed off the list.
Our solution was to implement 3 Changes:
VCCCD Custom Luminis UI
I've received a few requests for our jQuery customizations lately, so I've decided to split them up into chunks (modules) and post them on the lumdev svn repository. This page will serve as the home for these customizations, but I'll probably do a post for each individual module also (mostly because I already have one for the tabbed content).
In general, our philosophy with these UI mods is that they should be light-weight and easy to manage/reapply to luminis. Since they are almost completely client-side, they act as more of an overlay to the baseline luminis functionality.
Tabbed Targeted Content Channels (Finally!)
This year at Summit I had the pleasure of presenting/competing in Luminis Idol with some other very talented (and entertaining) folks. Later on I was asked to share some of our mods - particularly the "Tabbed Targeted Content Channel" code. Sorry it took so long, but I'm finally getting around to it. (Banner 8 upgrade has been consuming my life!)
Attached you'll find a zip file with the code and documentation to install and use it. Hope you find it useful. It's been very well received at our colleges.
Luminis Term Load Procedure
Attached is the procedure we use each semester to load term, course, student, enrollment, and assignments from Banner to Luminis. We haven't had students in the portal very long, so I can't say this is tried and true, but it should be a good start.
A Note about step 7
