LDN - Luminis Developer Network

We have a weird MOWA behavior. We get a blank page sometime after clicking an Email iconon the portal. Wondering if any of you have ever encourtered or heard this weird thing? I'd appreciate it very much if you could share your experience or tips.

This problem happens mostly in IE and sometimes in FireFox. It is unpredictable and no pattern for us to study. It seems to me that the browers stuck at this URL:

This is an ABC or 101 question.
We have created a user-defined roles, such as faculty_mailing_list, which includes all faculty and a few administrators who need to know what info/news sent to faculty. We can see this role listed on Table GORIROL for those who should have this role.
We have learned that we should write an event trigger so that if a new person is qualified for this role, an event will be fired and the system will get all related info for this person and publishes to LMB.
