LDN - Luminis Developer Network

Our school is going to use Wordpress for blogs. We need SSO to Wordpress. I do see that CASphp is an option for SSO to wordpress. I am new to CAS. All our SSOs in Luminis are CPIP based. Has any one implemented Luminis to Wordpress SSO adapter?

As in future we will be moving to Luminis 5 I see CAS based SSO solution as a better option for future migration needs.

I would appreciate any insight on this.

We are using Luminis integrated Sunone mail for our students. Mostly email messages with html formatting is displayed properly in Sunone mail. When a user is sending message from Smartphone to our Sunone mail users the message body is not getting translated and the message is blank. We know that the message body is getting received as when the same message is forwarded to gmail, yahoo etc. we can view the message body.

Did anyone come accross similar problem?

We do not want to restrict our users to use only plain text for emails.

We want to use NFS mount for Group studio file storage. This would help us seprating Luminis resource server from file storage server. I have been trying to implement it on our test Luminis server. Our Luminis resource server is Solaris and NFS is Linux. I have made the configuration changes but when we try to upload a file through Group studio I get the following error:

com.pipeline.grouptools.exception.GTException: Error parsing Multi-part request

Is anyone using NFS for Groupstudio file storage?

Any suggetion would be appreciated.

We are planning to make our school's Luminis potal to be made available through mobile devices (iPhone, Blackberry, Smartphone...). I have seen some schools do have there mobile version of  portal.

what should be the approach for that? Any particular guidlines that needs to be followed?

Hi,

We are using Luminis IV.0.1.50. Recently we enabled the Group Studio feature for our users. But users uploading large photo/files crashes the Tomcat server and forces it for a restart. The cp.log and catalina.err shows "java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException". So we have now disabled Photo/File sharing feature in our production environment.
We do not have any problem doing photo/file uploads in our Development server, but it is a big problem in production.

Our students really want to use group studio.
