LDN - Luminis Developer Network

Just a quick reminder that there is still time to complete a proposals for Summit 2012 in Las Vegas! There's a quick summary video about the process for submitting a proposal. I'm really excited to be the Luminis peer representative in the review process and to help facilitate community discussions at Summit.

Just a quick tip, LP5 settings are stored in the internal LDAP. For back-up and reference, I export an LDIF of the "LUMINIS CONFIGURATION". I use JXplorer

Login to your LDAP port 389 (usually on the same node as CAS) as cn=Directory Manager and ou=LUMINIS CONFIGURATION, o=cp. Export an LDIF of the settings as a back-up.

Also been handy way to confirm settings as we have worked on the LDI / MQ from Banner.

I received confirmation yesterday that I'll be taking the position of Luminis Portal Administrator at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. (css.edu). I'm excited to begin the process of instantiation and implementation.  Previously I've gained a lot of support from other web based communities (K12LTSP.org) of which I was a member. I'm looking forward to getting to know this one as well, eventually contributing to content and support for others.
