good idea - what about having it on one end of the JA-SIG conf
i think this could be very helpful especially if it coincided with JA-SIGs conference (summer seems to be more portal centric). that way, some of what we could learn would be covered by that community and then have more days/sessions dedicated to SGHE's implementation. I don't know if Oracle has a portal specific conference but when Luminis is switched to having an Oracle base then maybe the Luminis developers conference could switch to that time/place. What do you think about that?

Instead of Just a conference, why not have a workshop? Have some standard conference type activities, but also have a brainstorm and build session or something of that sort? Something where we can get a bucket of ideas and then work on them. That way maybe we can go away having something to take back to our uni's?
Just some ideas. I like ideas
Yeah definately. The
Yeah definately. The developer's lounge is the most useful part about summit, however there's always other luminis stuff going on outside of the lounge. It's hard to figure out where to be, and I always felt like I was missing something somewhere else. And did miss some things...
The presentations are useful but having some unstructured time would be great to.
