LDN - Luminis Developer Network

With the release of LP IV and the advancements in it I've been charged with getting an environment up as quickly as possible. One of those improvements we are looking to capitalize on is the ability for the install to reflect a "development" profile suitable for a single developer. Short term I want to install LPIV with a developer profile on my Windows XP SP2 desktop. Has anyone done this yet ?

How much RAM is in your desktop ?
Was this a problem ?
Was the database installed to your desktop or centrally managed ?
What database did you use ?
