LDN - Luminis Developer Network

Hello,

We're in the middle of our Luminis IV installation (well, at least our Sungard consultant is).

We'll be using our GroupWise Calendar for Faculty and Staff. It works well and does what we want. We do, however, want to use the Luminis calendar for Students' personal calendars, Group Studio, and some general campus calendars (activity calendars, sports calendars, etc).

Here are our questions:

1. Can we turn off the personal calendar for Faculty and Staff, yet allow them to see the other more general calendars?

2. Can we see some subset of calendars (in a combined view) both inside and outside the portal? That is, we would like to have a calendar that would show activities posted from various campus groups in one calendar on our public web site and within Luminis. We do this with another product currently, but would like to shift to the Luminis calendar.

2a. As a follow up to the previous question... If we can't do this, is the Luminis calendar in some kind of storage environment (LDAP, some other generic database, etc.) that we could hit (from outside the portal) and use to build our own publicly viewable calendar?

I've posed a these question to our consultant, who, because of his current overloaded scheduled, referred us to customer support. I haven't heard anything from support since I posted a week ago, so I'm hoping some people here might have a few thoughts.
