SCT Nav and CSS_Nav Tags

Hi,
we are building out some templates and we tried out the CSS_Nav tag. It seems to generate some Java Script along with a full and a blank list. Does anyone have experience with this? When published is the Javascript published also? It seems completely un reasonable that I would have to add the bulk of their Javascript to my page, and that the functionality is not the same for those that do not have Javascript....

CSS_Nav Tags
Hi,
I to have noticed the Javascript. and have tried to implement the CSS nav menu.
im not sure about the Javascript being published, but if you have found out, could you update your post...
Have you managed to see embedded UL elements display on a page.
I have the navagation all set but always the top navagation shows and not the
Child elements.
not sure what to try next...
