In case you haven't noticed, registration for Summit 2008 is now open.
Here's some information about the opening and closing sessions -

OPENING GENERAL SESSION
SunGard Summit 2008 officially begins with our opening general session, which takes place immediately following the Welcome Brunch on Sunday, April 13, at 12:30 p.m. in the Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center. After a warm "California" welcome, Chief Executive Officer Brian Madocks and members of the SunGard Higher Education management team will point out the "don't miss" events of the 2008 conference agenda and provide a snapshot of SunGard Higher Education's performance over the last year and our vision for the next.

As always the general session features a dynamic keynote address by a well-known public speaker. In past years we have been able to bring you famed cartoonist and humorist Scott Adams and the Boston Philharmonic's Benjamin Zander. This year, we are working to bring you another stellar performer so check back soon for more details.

CLOSING SESSION
The closing session brings everyone together for the last day of the conference immediately following breakfast on Wednesday, April 16, at 8:00 a.m. in the Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center. Though it’s hard to believe, we’re already planning for SunGard Summit 2009 in Philadelphia and we’ll have some conference highlights to share with you. We’ll also conduct the raffle drawing for our charity benefit, which raises funds this year for Pathways to Independence Foundation in Orange County California.
Dr. Carl Hammerschlag

Our closing program this year is truly an inspirational one, featuring a keynote address by Dr. Carl Hammerschlag.

Dr. Hammerschlag is an internationally recognized speaker, author, physician, and healer who helps people transform their lives by showing them how to rise above limitations, remove roadblocks, rekindle dreams and become the principal agents in their own professional and personal lives. His extraordinary life experiences have given him a unique perspective about how people can restore life balance. Using the language of science, the power of legends and his vast clinical experience, Dr. Hammerschlag is a fascinating speaker you won’t want to miss.
