Calling All Summit Attendees!

Take Part in Luminis Idol!

Are you going to Summit this year? Are you a Luminis Administrator/Developer/Evangelist? Would you like to show off your best Luminisian features?

I'm running Luminis Idol at Summit this year, a competition I have run for a few years here in British Columbia. It's a fantastic opportunity to see what others are doing with their portal and a chance to demonstrate what you've done.

Here's the catch: I was building a fancy presentation until I got a note saying I had to have my final presentation in today (Update: I have an extension until Tuesday). That includes any institutions that will be involved in Luminis Idol. That means you!

But my bad is your good! If you are coming to Summit and will be attending any of the Luminis events, why not throw your name in the ring for consideration.

It's easy, just e-mail me: acalder@bcit.ca before Tuesday and let me know you are interested or would like to learn more.

This is a fun session where you get to learn a lot about the features that make Luminis work, and demonstrate your own innovations, no matter how big or small - no matter what the technology.

Send me a quick note and I'll update with more information.

Thanks!
Alistair

Any more takers?

Are you going to Summit? Want to win prizes? Try your hand at becoming Luminis Idol 2008!

I have had a few takers so far, and I wanted to further extend an invitation to anyone coming to Summit in Anaheim this year.

Luminis Idol 2008!

This will be a fun session, where you'll have 5 minutes to demonstrate the best feature(s) of your Luminis instance. It's a great chance for you to show off your success and see what others are working on.

If you are interesting in participating (don't worry, you don't have to dance or sing) just e-mail me: acalder@bcit.ca and I'll add you to our list.

If you want more info, let me know
Alistair
