LDN - Luminis Developer Network

We are planing to bring up Banner with Luminis for self-service in phases. Financial Aid is scheduled to go 'live' first, with the other Banner student modules coming later. We want our students to be able to use both the new self-service for Banner (via Luminis), and our old legacy self-service until all Banner modules are 'live'.
To prevent students from having to go to two URL's (one for Luminis/Banner self-service, and one for our legacy system), can a channel be added via Luminis to point to a home grown web self-service site? What we currently have is a Web Front-end to a mainframe legacy student system.
