I'd like to create CPIP web proxy channels that point to SSB pages. Not baseline SSB pages, but custom-made ones without the SSB header and footer. I have a couple reasons for wanting to do this:
I tried to set up a cpip web proxy channel in our TEST environment using external system id sctssb and destination url https://www.ssb.school.edu:6999/test/bzgklgrp.P_DispChannel but when I add the channel, I get a General channel rendering failure error, and if I view the details, it looks like this:
org.jasig.portal.GeneralRenderingException: Problem retrieving contents of https://www.ssb.school.edu:6999/test/gokcsso.p_call_banner_sserv?sess_token=MDAXXXXXXE=KZXXXXXXXXXXXXXX&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ssb.school.edu%3A6999%2Ftest%2Fbzgklgrp.P_DispChannel. Please restart channel. at org.jasig.portal.channels.webproxy.CWebProxy.renderXML(CWebProxy.java:698) <cut out all the java exception stuff>
Any other links using the sctssb cpip connector are "broken" when I add that CPIP web proxy channel, they just take me to the SSB login page.
Should the sctssb cpip connector work in a CPIP web proxy channel? Or is something wrong somewhere with my configuration?
