LDN - Luminis Developer Network

Hi all,

We're about to move to Luminis IV in PD and are reviewing our disaster recovery plans. Right now, we're relying on tape backup which is a long process - are there best any best practices/strategies that anyone is using that are recommended given the difficulties referenced in other posts on this topic?

This: http://www.lumdev.net/index.php?q=node/498 is a great guide, but I am concerned with the threat of being "unsupported".

One path that we're considering (and this may seem obvious but may be flawed) - install our hotsite without any data, run the migration scripts that you run at installation weekly (or nightly?) from our production server to our test system to migrate users and channels, and be prepared to fix our Banner linkages during a disaster (hooking up LDI and Middle-Tier).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
