Minor rant: misuse of blogs on LDN

This has been bothering me for some time, I dunno why I've finally decided to post a mini-rant. Anyway, here goes...

Blame it on my OCD but the only thing I find annoying on LDN is the misuse of the blog feature here.

I hate to point out specific posts but I think citing examples is the least time-consuming way of explaining this. Take a look at http://www.lumdev.net/blog. At the time that I write this, every post on that page should be a thread in one of the forums.

Example: The "Job Opening: Fort Myers, FL" blog post (http://www.lumdev.net/node/2091) should actually be a thread in the Forums under "Job Postings / Offers / Consulting" (http://www.lumdev.net/forum/27).

A blog should function as a pseudo-diary, not as as place to post questions (except for the comments area). Here's a great example of a blog post:

"EAS to Campus LDAP, with Luminis LDAP fallthrough" (http://www.lumdev.net/node/1689)

That is all.
