Howdy,
I just heard about Banner Smart Events ... an event in Banner, such as Grades Posted or Hold Placed on an account can be set to automatically trigger delivery of a Luminis Targeted Announcement . Anyone using Smart Events? Whadda ya know?
I'm just starting research on this:
- What Banner events can Smart Events be used with? There is a short list in the LDI docs, but I'm not seeing anything indicating that it can be extended for use with other events. (Financial Aid folks want to use it to trigger messages such as "fin aid app missing info".)
- Is this difficult or time consuming to set up?
- Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start with the Banner/Luminis documentation?
