Connector to Cognos 8?

Does a standard cpip connector to Cognos 8 exist? My institution is bringing Cognos online and at some point we'll develop SSO to it. Has anyone had success building SSO to Cognos with either GCF method?

Cognos sso

We don't currently run Cognos 8, but we do run Cognos 7, and we have set up sso using xml files.
Let me know if I can be of any help.
