After launching LDI between Banner 7.x and Luminis III.3.3, Banner is now our system of record for Luminis accounts. I'm running into a problem with people who change their names and need to have new portal accounts and email addresses provisioned. For example, John Jones changes his name to John Smith, and wants his portal ID and email address changed.
If I update the user's 3rd party ID in GOATPAD, an event is generated by Banner but the account is not created on the Luminis end. I surmised that since the previous account had an entry for the user's sourced.id, removing the sourced.id from the user's old Luminis account would solve the issue, but it did not.
Could this be a bug in Luminis III? How do other institutions change user's portal accounts in these cases?
