LDN - Luminis Developer Network

Does anyone know of a utility that will duplicate/clone one Luminis system to another (same version, same O/S). We want to copy PROD to TEST, for instance, and not have to find all the files that have hardcoded entries, URLs and so on.
For example, in configbootstrap.properties we would have to change
configuration.this.host.name = prod.portal.sou.edu
to be
configuration.this.host.name = test.portal.sou.edu
and so on--dozens of places, I think.

I found the "replicator" script, but it seems very complicated and lots of work. Maybe it's the only tool available....
Anyone know of anything better?
