LDN - Luminis Developer Network

I am working on creating a new channel to update Data in Banner Database. Although getting data from Banner and displaying it on channel worked fine, I was not successful in doing the vice versa. On the Channel, I have configured a procedure which has an input box which takes the value and a submit button so that when user enters value and clicks on the submit action, I am unable to retrieve the value in the input box. In our university, this is the first time we are working on Custom Banner channels apart from using Banner Delivered Channels. Was anyone successfull in creating a custom Banner channel. I have created the procedure definitions in Web Tailor as well.
