LDN - Luminis Developer Network

We have a situation where Blackboard is hosting DL for all community colleges in the state rather than each institution hosting its own system.
In our particular case, authentication into blackboard is accomplished by using OUR Luminis LDAP as essentially an EAS for Blackboard. Students enter the same ID and Password used to log into Luminis, and Blackboard then confirms through a connection to our Luminis LDAP.
To me, this situation just cries for an SSO channel in Luminis. However, I have run into problems getting it to work. I've even tried incoroporating some of what's been posted here.
Naturally, Sungardhe Support is limited because they are told to refer us to "Professional Services." We've had our fill of "Professional Services" after only one usage for a different matter. Besides, we're not about to fork out $15k for an SSO channel.
At the current state of my experimental work, I at least have the process starting, but it doesn't proceed far enough to complete the display.
I've attached the relevant files, and would be greatly appreciative if someone could spare the time to evaluate what I have and make some suggestions.
