Consulting Hours: SSO from Luminis IV to Blackboard

Hello - does anyone have an estimate as to the number of consulting hours required to SSO from Luminis IV to Blackboard? Thank you.

SSO to BB consulting hours

Our BB is hosted.  We had to spend money with both both Sungard and BlackBoard in order to set up full SSO and data integration.  Took almost 6 months and I think the total was nearly 6 figures.

LP IV to WebCT integration

For us at USD, it took about a week of remote training, about 2 -3 weeks of working in development, about a month of testing in dev and about a week of integration testing and about 1 month of reproducing everything in production and about 2 months of constant testing in dev and prod.

Overall i would say anywhere between 2 -3 months - depending on your staff, workload, resources, and experience with the products

SSO to Blackboard can be done with GCF

Your post is a few months old, so this may be moot.  We were able to set up SSO to Blackboard Basic using GCF techniques with the help of our GCF training engagement instructor.  The interface does not include any course level connectivity or data synchronization.  Contact me if you want to hear more.
