Luminis 4.2.2 incompatiable with Internet Explorer 8 RC1:

Just a heads up to everyone. I am running Luminis 4.2.2 on a Windows 2003 Server and have found the it does not work with Internet Explorer 8 RC1.

There appears to be an issue with the Inline Frames Channels. They do not render at all.

Hope this gets fixed in a future patch or update.

Just wanted to share the knowlegde.

happened with IE7 beta

I reported this issue with IE7 beta 3, see http://www.lumdev.net/node/799, I don't recall applying any hotfixes to specifically address the issue andd we never had a problem with the final release. I have also observed the issue with IE8 RC, I think I will open a support query with sungard again.

RE: IE 8

You have to turn on "Compatibility Mode" in IE8. The inline frames should work then.

Did the Compatibility

Yes, I did the Compatibility Mode, and it still didn't seem to work. I just uninstalled IE8 and figure I'll do some final testing once the final release of IE8 is out.
