EAS intergrated with Active Directory: Success

Last night I implemented our EAS to run with Active Directory. I'm happy to say it was successful and uneventful.

The accounts work great. Testing showed that users will fall threw the AD account to the local LDAP for accounts that manage layouts and fagaments.

Lots of good stuff happening this week, with Student going live at the end of the week.

Thanks for everyone's post of all their issues, cause they have helped us that's for sure.

Steps are outlined in SGHE document

Hey everyone -

The steps to configure external EAS for Luminis are outlined in the Luminis™ Platform Security SDK/ External Authentication Server Implementation Guide document, which you can download via ActionWeb.

You can specify an external EAS only, or as Robert has done, configure an external EAS as the primary authentication authority and the Luminis LDAP as the secondary.

Hey reickleberry, we just did the same, using LDAP, and two Active Directories now, with fall through.

It was surprisingly easy!
