Problems with Luminis Channels OC4J Connector

Hi,

We are currently using Luminis 4.2.1.0 & Banner 8 on AIX 5.3.0.9 (64 bit) on ibm-570, and are on 10.2.0.4; the application server is on AIX 5.3.0.9 (64 bit) and is on 10.1.2.3 (recently upgraded from 10.1.2.0.2).   We recently updated Luminis with parallel deployment and started to get this error with the OC4J connection used for Banner channels for Luminis middle tier configuration.   It will hang at about the same time every other day.   Please see the error message below.  Has anyone else seen this error or know how to correct it?

We are seeing many processes in sleep/wake on OC4J.

Thanks

A possible fix

May want to check out this link: http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=4275250

"This is solved by entering the following lines in the $ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/conf/mod_oc4j.conf file BEFORE the tag:
Oc4jCacheSize 0
Oc4jConnTimeout 10"

We applied this fix and no longer receive the errors. However, our channels still fail to render.

Defect 1-C9287C

There's been a critical ticket open for banportals since June that is probably what you're running into. You can try making some of the adjustments in the FAQ attached to that defect.
