Modifying the Advisor Dashboard
Submitted by yeah on Wed, 2009-08-26 18:07
I am wanting to modify the Advisor Dashboard channel. I need to remove the "student" & "both" buttons.
How does one go about modifying these channels that tie into Banner.

Modify the XSL
You will need to unpack the Advisor Dashboard channel's CAR file (which is a ZIP file), edit the XSL file in it that generates the channel and repack it. Some of them have multiple XSL files, one for the default mode and one for the edit mode. If you cannot figure out which is which from the name, you can look in the SSL file to figure it out.
