SSO to oracle apps, oracle financials
Hello All,
Here at USD we have some banner modules. Our HR, payroll and some other modules are oralce apps. Considering that we want our employees to use the portal as well, we are thinking that providing single sign-on's to all the oracle apps could be another good reason we can request employees at USD to get to the portal. Now keeping this in mind, i searched for people providing SSO's to oralce apps from the portal but i didn't see anybody have any posting for it.
So, out of curiosity, i am posting this message to see how many of you guys have oracle apps on campus and how are you guys providing access to those apps? Is the access through portal? if that is the case, do you guys provide SSO?

Shiva, I don't have a specific answer for you. However, do you have a link to some of their documentation on how do this?
A lot of services require the same encryption techniques, so if I can see what is expected, I might be able to point you in the right direction.

I do not have any specific documentation on this project other than the standard sungard documentation and/or usd internal documentatino on GCF connectors and if i am lucky i might be able to find some documentation on the Oracle HR / payroll side.
I will keep looking and post a solution once i find it.
