LDN - Luminis Developer Network

We are trying to modify the default names for our Campus and Personal announcements.  This is working ok in the channel admin UI, but the names still appear on the workflow pages and in the Manage Targeted Announcement page.  It appears there is an object.function that is reading some channel record somewhere to get the value Channel or Personal. The jsp we're looking at is:

CPROOT/webapps/luminis/WEB-INF/uPortal/com/sct/pipeline/uportal/channels/announcements/ manage-ta-channel.jsp

Anyone know where that value would be stored or how it would be derived?  Perhaps there's a database record we could modify?
