plain text PIN and Banner 8
Once you encrypt GORPAUD, the plain text PIN is no longer available anywhere. Encrypting GORPAUD is an optional step in the Banner 8 upgrade. If you do not do it, then Luminis is still passed the unencrypted PIN by LDI. We chose not to do it since we have one SSO (TouchNet) that depends on the PIN. At some point we will change the sign on method with TouchNet (probably to CAS) and then we will encrypt GORPAUD (which I wish we could do now for security reasons).
