Luminis IV vs Internet Browser

Hi all

We are working on upgrading/migrating from luminis 3.3.3 to 4.0. Does any school which is using luminis IV+ have any issues with IE 8.0? how about Firefox Mozilla latest version? Any idea is welcome, thanks!

No Issues So Far

Hi Alan,

We are running 4.2.1 and don't have any issues with IE 8 or Firefox 3.6. We stayed with a fairly vanilla implementation and made only a few customizations.

We are running 4.2.x (latest stable version) and have not seen or had complaints about browser issues. We have a diverse population that use a variety of browsers (IE7, IE8, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc...) and many operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux).

luminis 4 and ie 8

We are having intermittent issues with luminis 4 on ie 8. Did you have to make customizations to the ie 8 settings?

Group Studio Email in Chrome

The only issue we have seen with a modern browser is the Email Functionality within Group/Course studio fails in Chrome 4.1. Everything else works as expected.

There were some issues with iFrames at one point. I'm not sure if newer LumIV versions fixed it yet, as we are not running the latest version.
