LDN - Luminis Developer Network

Hello. I am a new web developer at a university and am being introduced to Luminis for the first time, so please excuse me if I properly mislabel any terms or Luminis components. We are looking to improve upon the file uploader that is used with the groups module (labeled "Group Studio Activity Channel"). I was told that there was a great drag and drop solution shown at a conference where users could drag multiple files to upload from the desktop or a folder. Our project manager mentioned that he heard that the solution was posted online somewhere, so I'm trying to track it down. Does anyone know where I can find this solution? Thanks.
