Gmail in Luminis Email Client

We are having trouble configuring some of the users external gmail pop account in Luminis email client.
If any of you successfully configured gmail in luminis email client. Could you share you experience.

I was unable to connect to Gmail. Gmail is POP3 compatible if you enable it but, it requires an SSL connection for POP3, there was nowhere in Luminis that I saw to enable that.

Were you able to configure the gmail account - also are you just using gmail thru the portal email client or are you using gmail as your main web email?
