As our university is new to Luminis (planning to go live in July 2006), we are reviewing our staff needs related to our entire web. Not including hardware support, we currently employ one web designer (design and content), a team of four web developers/programmers, and a part time writer (and of course the related management personnel). Content is managed mainly by individuals throughout the university.
We are seeking to maintain a high level of involvement from our community in content generation with Luminis, however we are realizing we will need to grow our staff in terms of supporting, shaping and filtering that content - not only for Luminis but for our public and intranet sites.
To pose a general question(s): what is the makeup of your staff relative to web support? How many individuals does your school devote to your sites for programming/design/content management?
