Password Expiration Notice

We are looking for a way to notify users when their password has expired, and potentially redirect them to a tool that can be used to set their password during the login process. We currently have Luminis setup to use EAS to authenticate users against an Active Directory domain. Currently, when a user's password has expired (in Active Directory), they are simply locked out of Luminis with no message indicating the problem. As you can guess, this causes some headaches with our support team. Any thoughts? I have heard that Wichita State? may have implemented this.

Password Expiry
I mentioned this in another post, PSynch (http://www.psynch.com/) has I believe expiry notification process builtin, might be worth some investigation.
