Classified Ads Channel Question

Hello,
I was installing the Classified Ads channel into Luminis III.3.1 on a windows box, using the car file and could get nothing to work. We quickly looked at the schema of the Luminis database and could not find the Classifieds table that should have been created. After checking out a few things we realized that the LDI components had not been installed on the server, and so I am now assuming that the Classified Ads channel uses the Banner Database. Is this correct, or would the channel use the Luminis Database? I'm sure that its possible that the car file just didn't work, but I think answering this question will explain a lot!

very late answer
Our version of Classified Ads uses a table in the UPortal Schema (so it is one of the Oracle Databse that belongs to Luminis).
It certainly does not use the Banner Database.
There are many posts about this channel newer than your question (I cannot believe no one answered it in two years).
