Hi, we are getting ready to go live with Luminis 111.3.3 in September and have had what seems a reasonable request come back from some user testing we’ve been doing. That is to be able to view a brief description of what a group is about before requesting to join it. As these are submitted when a group is initially set up, has anyone worked out away of doing this or any ideas how we might go about it?

we had started on this, but other issues arose (upgrade from banner 6 to banner 7 chief among them). the table you would get the info from is in the grouptools database, gt_group. this has the group description as well as the access criteria.

Thanks.We have now found out you can do it by setting up a guest page, which kind of gets round the problem!
