Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has had any mods of the Look Up Classes package in SSB (bwskfcls.P_GetCrse) or anything similar that required a change to the package which then resulted it to be updated in Web Tailor Admin.

I understand out of the box functionality however, when it comes to making a local change to a package in Web Tailor it makes it a little more difficult to understand how to make the change in Luminis and SSB (Channel Preferences and Web Menus or Procedures sections of Web Tailor Admin in SSB).

Any help would be appreciated!

We want to have a link in a channel that uses ssb sso to open in a new window. It's possible to do this with a ssb link using " target="_new after the procedure name using web tailor. I get an error when using the same code as a link in a channel. I'm using web tailor and adding a new preference to add the link. I've tried both an ssb type and web type but neither work. Has anyone gotten this to work?

I need a little bit of assistance from you guys. I am working with someone to try to create a link in a channel in Luminis. This link needs to run a package that was installed in oracle/banist1 and granted to www_user. This package is basically a simple Oracle package that gets the student's SPRIDEN_ID and then passes the student to another page with the SPRIDEN_ID in a form. This part isn't the important part.

Currently I am receiving person events in Luminis IV from Self Service Banner for account creation. The problem is that only the users with the STUDENT role are getting the PIN from SSB which enables the users to log into Luminis.

The APPLICANTS, etc get accounts in Luminis but no initial password.

Does anyone know how to set Luminis to receive PINS from SSB for ROLES that I want to be able to log in?

We at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi need to make a strong Look and Feel customization inside Self Service Banner.

Using jQuery to change our SSB 7.5 pages look and feel, manipulating all HTML result from Banner PL/SQL functions is a way to get that.

Is there any Banner PL/SQL function that is used inside every SSB page and that can be edited adding a line with a script source HTML tag to call a JavaScript file?

Hi all

We are now back to upgrading and migrating luminis 3 to 4 project. We are now in Banner SSB module. We keep getting "Access Denied" error even the Authentication service is running. What could I miss? Please someone help because the logs is empty! :(

I am trying to add a link to an SSB page and have identified where I need to add the link. The link is to an external system and I can see that it must be included in a BANINST1 package but I don't know how to code it to point to the right URL or how to test only my code without running the entire package.

I want a link, such as "anchor verbiage" which points to some mylink constant with some variables. In HTML this would be coded as my verbiage
