I got tired of the built-in tool not giving me any useful information other than the total number of active sessions. So I started poking around to see how that tool works and how I could improve it. After starting my investigation I came across article 2383. That provided a good base, but I wanted more. So I kept digging and writing. Now, I present you with a decent tool for inspecting your active sessions.

Here's how I got RSS feeds with images to render (without images) on our all-HTTPS Luminis server:

I previously posted some code that I put together to read user account attributes from LDAP.
To accompany that utility I also wrote another that is able to enable portal accounts.
There are a couple of ways a user's account could end up being disabled :
If users attempt to login too many times successively their account will be disabled
If they attempt to login too many times with the wrong password their account will be disabled

Since these scenarios have a tendency to occur more often than we would prefer (especially after breaks)

We recently launched our production portal (Sept.) and have been learning about portal administration as we go along.
One of the things I found a need for is an easy way to look up LDAP information for a specific user.
The user management tool provided through the Admin menu doesn't always show the information we're looking for (account suspended or disabled, login attempts...) and limiting what information or functionality access a user has would be difficult.

Hi all

Has any school ever seen "unknow error" when clicking on the CPIP Connector to other external system? Like Blackboard, groupwise??? If so, how do you solve the problems? Thanks!

Hi all

We are working on creating a formatted link and then put the link in the Banner SSB page. The link is created but how do I put the link in Banner SSB page without popping up another window asking the user to click on the formatted link?? Could spmeone please help? Thanks!
