Hi All
Is there any way to move luminis 3 DATA to luminis IV without running Migration process?
We had so much troubles running Migration process after successfully installing luminis IV. Thanks!
We are currently running luminis 3.3.3.64 on Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 on the new servers for luminis IV.

I gave a presentation at SunGard Summit in Anaheim this spring on Plymouth State's portal (myPlymouth). I had mentioned that PSU did some monkeying around with how we load our CSS and JavaScript so that it always forces users to have the correct versions of those files when changes are made while at the same time allowing their browsers to cache the JS and CSS where appropriate.
I have finally posted the article on my blog. This goes along nicely with Mathew Winstone's excellent post on optimization.
Hope some of you find this useful!
Hi folks,
I am attempting to create a new fragment in Luminis IV. The fragment is easily created in the Fragment Manager; however, the new fragment's owner is set up as "dlmf_24" (or some other generic account).
How do I change the owner for the fragment (to an account like "newfragment-lo") so that the fragment can be managed by that owner?
If this answer is in the byzantine documentation, please point me to that. I have had no luck so far....
Thanks in advance!
I'm continuing to develop the classicdrag theme that I presented at Summit. I've gotten a lot of good feedback already so I'll be working into rolling new features/fixes in. Here comes the good news: Sungard came back and said that it was fine with me having it available to everyone without even needing a password. Once again, here's the URL:

Things I've changed in the zip as of today.
Hi All
Is there any way to change the color of a Tab? thanks in advance.
We are running luminis 3.3.3.64 in Wiondows 2000 Envirionment. We like to make a Tab as an Emergency Contact Information center and it will be RED off or on.

I'm a little fuzzy on the purpose of usertemplate as compared to the "layout users".... can someone fill me in?
Also, there is a user called fragmentTemplate. Anyone know how to use this?
I can't find much in any of the documentation about either of these "users".
Also ..... . we're not in production yet, but once we are, is it possible to reset the layout for all users, or does each user have to do that individually?
Thanks!!

Can't make it to summit this year, so you all will have to fill us in on anything new. Last summit it sounded like Luminis 4 was going xhtml / css based, but when I went in the nested-tables file, and uncovered the sad truth, rather than brave through reworking their "new" skins (which are utterly useless) I decided to fall back on just keeping my mods in the nested tables file, which adds resources (CSS, JS, etc...) outside of the luminis patch folders.
This week we at Clayton State have been adding channels in preparation for our Luminis installation to go live. While doing the same menial task over and over, it struck us that there has to be a better (and easier) way for other content administrators to add new and edit existing content. Sungard caringly provided a textarea for users to input data which we found completely inadequate, so we replaced it with the powerful TinyMCE editor.
Hi All
After migration (lots of messages coming out but 0 error?), we tried to run checkssl to enable EAS and got the following error:
$ checkssl NODE2PA 636
Trying SSL connection with NODE2PA:636
ERROR:Error initializing KeyStore! Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect
Could someone tell me how do I fix the error??? THANKS!

* Reply from Sungard: In the checkssl script you will see the password of changeit in there. Change this to your lumadmin password you used to install with then try re running the checkssl script.
and it worked.
After doing a good amount of research and a whole lot of trial and error, I've successfully added 3 new Custom icons to our Luminis environment. These Icons are to be displayed to every user in our system, so Roles are not a factor in these steps.
I should note that these steps were based off of Jeremy Baumli’s post (http://www.lumdev.net/node/1449). The steps that follow differ only slightly, with some more details that I found helpful.
I created three new icons, each of which simply point to an existing URL associated with our college.
