LDN - Luminis Developer Network

We are looking to upgrade to Bb 9 on a new server and run our current Bb 6.2.3 system at the same time.  This will allow faculty to experiment with the new version and start migrating content without having to shut down 6.2.3 system.

Is there a way to have 2 SSO links for Blackboard in the Luminis portal?  Has anyone experimented with this?  We would appreciate any help on insight to this.

As our school's Luminis go-to guy, I've become involved in a new project (shopping cart system) that does not use Luminis as a platform but will be more successful if we're able to leverage a couple of Luminis' features: authentication and SSO.

I would like to see if there are any schools that are currently running Luminis III with Banner 8 and have integration with WebCT Vista.  I understand from sungard that this is not a supported solution and that you have to revert from using the LDI live event processing that uses the LMB/LMG message broker back to using Batch file processing using ICGORLDI.

Has anyone accomplished this or decided that they could not run Luminis III and Banner 8 and had to upgrade to Luminis IV prior to Banner 8 go live?

We currently are using the luminis data integration system that updates luminis and blackboard when a student is admitted to the college or a new employee is hired.  The live integration uses the standard sungard setup.

The issue we have is that when a person event is fired (which creates or appends changes to their Luminis and WebCT Vista account), the password is reset back to the default as identified by Banner on WebCT.  The luminis password is not reset and remains their current password.

We are having a problem with students that are getting an access denied error message in Luminis. The accounts work fine when they are on campus, but when they are at home they are getting this error when trying to click on Annoucements, Email, MyCourses, etc. We have tried having them turn off the Windows Firewall, making the site trusted, turning off pop-up blocker. We have also had them try using Mozilla Firefox. None of the above has fixed the problem. Anyone have a clue to what else to try?

Ok, this new 2048 SSL stuff is killing me.  I cannot install a root cert for IPSCA (my cert provider), I have not been able to install a root cert for VeriSign, or GlobalSign.  I think IPlanet 6.0 is too old to handle 2048 bit roots, is it possible to install IPlanet 6.1 over it?

Does anyone have a trick for installing new roots?

We are testing a migration of data from our Luminis III.3.3.142 Windows based system and ran into an error while trying to do the initial platformexport. Here is the script and error we receive;

I had a look at http://www.lumdev.net/node/2000 and there is no problem for Google Analytics logging my LP III.3.3 stats for authenticated users after adding the code to nested-tables.xsl. What I want to ask are:

1) Where to add the GA code for the default portal page like http://XXX/cp/home/loginf?

2) Where to add the GA code for the logout link (the logout icon)?

3) Where to add the GA code for targeted contents?

If anybody happens to know these please let me know.
