Tomcat session replication and Luminis 4?

Before I spend the time creating a new VM to add to my test cluster (it only has one web tier), I want to find out if anyone has enabled Tomcat session replication in their Luminis 4 environment. The only thing I can think of that would prevent this is if the Luminis sessions are not serializable. So has anyone done this and found it works?

iPhone and Luminis

Hi...I'm new to this forum.  I'm a web developer for a university that uses Luminis for the student/faculty/employee portal.  We are interested in creating a native iPhone app to access, among other things, some portal content.  I am able to generate a successful login, but the session does not maintain.  Are there others out there who have experience with this issue?  I was able to get a simple form and set of related pages to maintain session across the pages from the app, but the same code base does not maintain session when applied to the portal.

high login counts

For the last three weeks our graph of logged in users has been showing unusually high counts.  We would normally expect to see counts of 600-800 users during the day and for it to drop off to less than 20 around 4 a.m.  Lately we've been peaking at just under 4000 and the numbers lately haven't dropped below 700 even at 6 a.m.  It seems like sessions aren't being cleaned up, although I do see timeouts and logouts in the session.log.  Right now we have session.timeout set at 25 minutes.  Our SSB timeout is set at 30 minutes and UserSessionManager.SweepInterval is set
