LP5 CAS SSO for Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition

Hello Friends,
Has anyone configured LP5 w/CAS for SSO access into OBIEE?

Thanks,

GCF Connector to dotnet app with dynamic session ID in URL

I'm attempting to build an SSO to an ASP.NET application that's dynamically inserting the session ID within the URL as follows:
https://www.myserver.net/(S(vchbbnqzsl9vmc424jg5vf33))/default.aspx

I've edited the XML file to use both the GRAB and GRABFROMHEADER tags with no luck.
GET a:url="http://www.myserver.net/" a:query="" a:redirects="yes"
SEARCH a:symbol="mylogin" a:source="${_RESPONSE}" a:value="${_VALUE}"
GRAB a:start=".net/" a:end="/defaultDesktop.aspx"
SEARCH

SET a:symbol="MYLOGIN" a:value="${mylogin}"

Single Sign-on with Online Course Eval site

Anyone with experience writing a single-sign link to OnlineCourseEvaluations.com site? We recently purchased their system and now want to integrate it into Luminis. I'm wondering how you went about creating the encrypted string with the login credentials so that students can get to their site from a Luminis channel and not have to login to their site.

Sigle Sign on (SSO) Passthrough info from LDAP to thirdparty link - e-mail, first and last name

Need a way to passtrhough info from the LDAP (which is storying the user data) to a thirdparty link to bypass login in a production Luminis environment.

Here is part of the Sign-On HRL:
https://.................=SSIUSER&username=SID0001&firstname=Crystal&lastname=Ball&email=noreply@email.com

1. SSIUSER&username=SID0001 - being the Student e-mail already stored in the LDAP
2. firstname=Crystal&lastname=Ball - being the first name and last name also stored in the LDAP replacing the curent listed name "Crystal" and "Ball"

Want SSB link in channel to open a new window

We want to have a link in a channel that uses ssb sso to open in a new window. It's possible to do this with a ssb link using " target="_new after the procedure name using web tailor. I get an error when using the same code as a link in a channel. I'm using web tailor and adding a new preference to add the link. I've tried both an ssb type and web type but neither work. Has anyone gotten this to work?

SSO to live@edu for email

Tulane University is going to be using Microsoft's live@edu for student email accounts. We currently use an in-house Outlook server for email. I see where other schools have been able to modify the Luminis SSO for email to work with live@edu, but in our case, we will still have Faculty & Staff on our in-house server.
Any idea if we'll still be able to have SSO to email for Students as well as Faculty & Staff?

Remote SSO to Luminis possible?

I have been asked if it's possible to SSO into Luminis. Here are the details. We have an account lookup system (using Oracle Application Express) where users enter two pieces of information in order authenticate themselves so they can obtain their MyWashburn account credentials. (These are GOATPAD third party ID and GORPAUD unencrypted PIN.) Then, they have to go to the MyWashburn login page, enter the information, change password and then answer the security questions.

Blackboard SSO using an icon on the icon bar

Hi,
We're trying to get SSO to Blackboard (Webct) to work with a Bb icon on the icon bar. We have the SSO working in the My Courses channel, but our students don't often use that. Has anyone sucessfully made an icon connect straight into someone's Blackboard home page?

We've worked with both Blackboard and Sungard and neither one seems to be able to make this work - even though Sungard's User Interface Customization Guide uses "webct" as an example for custom icons.

We're on Luminis IV 4.2.2. Apparently this was easy in Luminis 3? Any hints you could provide would be most appreciated!

Any other Luminis III schools utilizing port 80/443 for CPIP in single-server setting?

I've reviewed all of the content on LDN re: moving CPIP to port 80/443 but nothing I've found applies exactly to my situation. For one, we're still using Luminis III (on Solaris). Secondly, we have a 1 server environment.

I attempted to follow Sungard FAQ 1-54G63I (which is for Luminis IV) but ran into a snag with modifying the server.xml. I've backed out of those mods and moved on to plan B.

Plan B is having another IP bound to the server's network adapter and modifying the configuration for CPIP to use port 80/443 on this other IP. So far this hasn't worked either.

Need help with SSO to Outlook.com from Luminis 4

I have implemented the St. John's University method to connect to Live Mail from Luminis 4. I know that the Microsoft server is set up correctly because I can click on the demo link and get to my email at Outlook.com.

When I click on the link within Luminis I get a response but no email appears...just this message:

net.sourceforge.jtds.jdbc.Driver

Can anyone tell me how to set up the link within Luminis?

Thanks!

Donna
