Hello Luminis Developers of the World,

Has anybody else had a problem with database links and Luminis?

We have a number of customisations and local developments that make use of database links to communicate with other databases.

Of course, we know there are myriad other ways to communicate e.g. web services but that is a discussion for another day!

Unfortunately, since Luminis has been installed, all stored procedures containing database links no longer compile.

Apparently Luminis now uses Oracle Streams, a side effect of which, is that local database links do not work.

Hi,
Has anybody experience with running LP5 on Oracle's SPARC T3 servers? If yes, what has driven that decision? Some background info would be great (number users, architecture, etc.).
