Ellucian Shared Code Repo

Submitted by Jason on Fri, 07/18/2014 - 13:45

Is the shared code repository GIT working for anyone? I'm unsure if the issue is on my side, or if the repo is broken. I can connect to github with my ssh keys without error.

""$ git clone ssh://
Cloning into 'lp5bootstrap'...
ssh: connect to host port 22: Bad file number
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.""

Luminis Version:

Odd. I tried the same git clone attempt from another workstation (after copying my keys to it) outside our network, and just got a permission denied message, instead of the bad file number message.

I tried the same statement again on my desktop that previously gave me a 'bad file number' error, and instead it is giving me a permission error now. With the password I use to log into the csi site (cut and paste from a password manager).

I guess someone may be doing work on the repo if the error messages are changing. Back to googling:)

Support figured it out for me. I had to be a member of at least one project, in order to GIT CLONE from any project.

/Wave Dustin - thanks for the reminder about the files being on github
